About PWC Chicago
Professional Women in Construction
PWC is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1980 to support, advance, and connect women and promote diversity in the architecture, engineering, construction, and related fields.
Chicago is the first midwestern chapter of PWC. It was established in 2021 by 14 women who decided that if they banded together, they could support each other in advancing their careers and businesses in the AEC industries. This vision is at the core of what we do.
PWC Chicago implements the PWC mission by actively engaging our members in career development, hosting events that facilitate connection and foster open conversation, and providing leadership opportunities on member-driven committees. We welcome all genders in our membership - together we can do more to support women in our industry!
