2026 Spring Panel
Affordable Net Zero: Building for Carbon, Cost, and Community Resilience
Net-Zero and carbon-neutral projects are not only possible—they represent a necessary and forward‑looking path for our industry. As educated professionals, we understand both the feasibility of these projects and the misconceptions that often surround them.
In a city like Chicago—celebrated for its architecture, art, and diversity yet long shaped by segregation and inequitable policies—leaders pursuing Net-Zero work now have powerful opportunities to reshape how investment flows across neighborhoods, particularly those historically disadvantaged.
